Store lambs realistic price profit?

You won't double your money on all of them:D some lambs with a bit of farming will grow like weeds the biggest problem when you buy lower end stores is that there's always a good few that won't ever doo there's a lot of poorly bred sheep out there

Very true that some of the bad doo'ers will never be lambs but this year l feel l have had a good turn with them all. I had a full decker load into local slaughterhouse before easter at £4.00 kg and my load average was 24kg and paying to 22kg a so l was putting nearly £85 in bank. And today l had the last and probably the dregs at local market and sold to a top of £90 to average £86. I just try and keep things simple and let them get on with it themselves but definitely the cheaper you buy the bigger the margin [emoji846]

Smaller lambs bought early have been alright this year as long as they were well bred but it has been a kind winter on them last year the smaller lambs were hard work
