Strange pigeons

I hadnt seen any until today, but found one a couple of hours ago looking pretty bedraggled. Just sat and stared at me, hardly even attempting to escape when I picked it up.

Lot of ill wood pigeons around here. They don't look thin they look disorientated. Buzzards are getting loads.

Glad to be rid of them

Same here. Won't even be too sad if they pass it on to the Buzzards.
Hope it's the acorn and green wheat theory.

yea nature has a way of feeding up species like young buzzards for winter , almost certainly beech mast , think it swells in the crop ,
