Strategies for controlling docks.

Minstrel et is so cheap you can't go wrong even if you spray them twice.

Use plenty of water, steady spraying and use an adjuvant. I can't stress this enough. Grassland spraying is totally unlike spraying in a usual crop because you are looking at weeds often a serious root mass involved, they haven't grown from seed.
Best time to hit them is after 2nd or 3rd cut when they all at same growth stage
2 to 3 weeks after cutting

Minstrel/Hatchet/Hurlur etc were so cheap 2/3 years ago. It doubled in price last year and jumped again this year so it's virtually the same price as branded dockstar now.

If you get the timing right these chems work well but they certainly aren't cheap any more.

Carryover cows/dry cows/calves mop them up, but picky dairy cows walk past them and go eat minerals provided

just have a stock class you can afford to do non-selective grazing with, doesn't have to be sheep

It has got most of the docks but a few of the worst patches are coming back
Could well of still come back at a higher rate though
