I was planning to chop everything but at £150/ac, I could be tempted to sell some!No deals but had some offers ranging from £100-£125/acre. I'll be £150/acre at harvest.
Loading straw out today at £135/tonne.
A lot of cattle housed end of September will need bedding though and some here in all year round.Be better waiting till January to buy. They'll bale everything and crash the market again with oversupply.
That's true. Not going to be any carryover.A lot of cattle housed end of September will need bedding though and some here in all year round.

Lee always posts straw prices at least 50% higher than most can achieve.

Choppers going to get a workout this year, fed up with being the last on the list to get baled and last to get moved and paid
Harvest 23 still here.
At £17/bale it’s to much hassle for the return![]()
