Strimech or Agriweld box rotator?

Ive been looking for a 2nd hand potato box rotator with merlo brackets for ages, and still haven’t seen one for sale. So as we need one for planting I’ve been looking into new ones, as it would need to be ordered now.

Strimech BT2000, 180 degree up to 2 ton is £2800

Agriweld 180c 2ton is £4350.

Is the Agriweld attachment worth £1500 more?

Can’t speak highly enough of the quality of work and service from Agriweld. They set there stall out to do what they do well like specialist buckets bespoke weight blocks etc and don’t get drawn into the mass market carve up of my 2 ton corn bucket is 50p cheaper than yours which in the end nobody wins.

Haven't used an Agriweld but I don't doubt they're a good machine! Have used a strimech and wouldn't recommend one. Broadwater are a good machine though and probably cheaper then the agriweld one.

+1 for broadwater, had 2 at my last job and they stood up to polish forklift drivers. I think they were made in Holland and imported by Broadwater but I could be wrong. Good kit though, only mod I made was I thought that the 45 angle cut on the sidearm box section was the wrong way to let it slide on to a box so I cut it the other way. Took 5 mins and worked better for us.

We got an agri weld 1 ton rotator (6*4*3)when they first started making them, that rotator handled thousands and thousands of boxes with out a single problem, not one.

@Sonoftheheir we retimed the rack gear on our broadwater tippler so that it comes back past level. (Opposite way than it tips) makes lifting boxes off trailers much easier in field because you can get the forks at the same angle as trailer floor.

Lifted ram and moved it one tooth over. Presumably they are still the same design.

Our broadwater was made by 'WIFO' in The Netherlands
