Stubble Turnips

This season is my first go at planting up my wild boar rest pens. I got a mix of Forage rape and stubble turnips. I planted them late April, i have since been invaded by pigeons which are taking their toll. I've just been away for a week and I've come back to some of the crop turning yellow. Any ideas?

Maybe sowed too early, forage rape around here are June and stubble turnips August

What inputs has it had? Could be lacking in sulphur as well as N. An early planted turnip/rape crop needs feeding and will take up to 75kg/ha N. Might be worth trying a maincrop turnip next year. I quite like the idea of a kale, turnip, forage rape mix if planting early. At least something should be left once the pigeons/ flea beetle have had a go!

It might be sawfly damage ?
Found some in ours if you pull up a plant you can see the grubs eating through the root ?
Lost 20% of plants but evenly across the field so not worried didn’t spray

I will get some testing done. I assumed it would be high in N after having the boar on it. Will see what it comes back with. Thanks for the advice!
