Stupid Hose Clamp Question... Fiesta

Broke a the Coolant Overflow Hose on a Mk6 Fiesta 1.25 yesterday it had gone brittle and heavy handed me snapped it retreiving the oil cap topping the oil in it.

Not even looked at it properly as had a 2Hour drive home catching the Manchester M60 M56 Rushhour.

Needs to be running Monday at 6AM and I wont see it now til Sunday night I've picked the hose up today from Fords... But I've not come across this kind of clamp before? It appears it wont easily come undone and I dont know what it attatches to at back of head or wherever looking the Ford Parts Files reveals nothing. It's glued to the Hose aswell.

Are they push on or am I missing something completly obvious? Annyone know what it attatches to round the back?

I believe the clamp in your picture is locked in the open position for easy installation. Once it’s in the right place you can release it and bingo bango job done.

Anyone know what the overflow runs to?

Like I say I've not looked at it properly only quickly today at Ford catalogue to order the part.
