Is anyone aware of any scheme to replace the presumption of 50% deemed export now the FIT scheme is ended.
Have someone looking at new install , which is promising, but putting an export meter costing £375 a year into the system is not justified for the level of exports expected, at the same time receiving the exports would certainly make the install worthwhile.
The stupid thing of course they already have a HH meter installed so the cost of monitoring is virtually zero

We were in a similar situation after the tariffs were cut. Makes it hard to make them pay without receiving that extra income. So we spent some time looking at alternatives that were outside the usual box and we came across a company that were offering investment in blockchain servers – it all sounded like magic beans and fairy dust but with it being a 3 – 5 year play and returns that were much higher than anything we had found. The idea of buying a computer that pays you for powering the blockchain and requires a fairly hands-off approach appealed to us. Besides, people have been making money for the past 20 years renting internet servers to provide power to the internet.

We are just over 12months in and we have seen returns of 35pence per kWh.

Hope this gives you a bit of hope that there are other options out there for maximizing your pence per kWh.
