Borrowed a gls sumo this autumn and need to work out a hire charge. Easier to base on acreage rather than hours. I supplied the wearing metal, collected and returned. Any idea of a fair fee?

We charged £8 per acre for our 3 leg auto reset Sumo.

It was used to loosen up reinstated opencast land, so it was bloody tough going, perhaps you might be a pound lighter for easier going land.

Costs of wearing metal plus a decent hourly rate to fit replacement metal plus 10% plus £1 an acre. I don’t know
