Suffolk sired lambs grade sheet above, these were aired by our home bred performance recorded Suffolk rams, born second half of Jan and predominantly fromLleyn ewes.
Nearly all of my lambs go locally do are not graded, always good to see some graded to show that you getting the job right.

Seriously impressive to be getting E grade lambs out of Lleyn ewes by a Suffolk. Any chance of a few pics of the sires?

I will try and get some pics of our stock rams, they will not look anything special as we do not push our rams for the ring and pick on their EBV’s more.
TBF I expect the E grade lambs are more likely to be out of some homebred Suffolk cross ewes, I will check later as I have grades to lamb tags.

Having looked in more detail the lambs out of Lleyn ewes have done better than out of our old Suffolk cross ewes.
20 lambs out of lleyn ewes graded as follows
E2 3 lambs
E3L 1 lamb
U3L 8 lambs
U3H 2 lambs
R2 1 lamb
R3L 5 lambs

The other 2 E3L’s in the batch were purebred Suffolk’s.
