Yes. Mechanic at Thurlow Nunn when I was an apprentice. Late 70s early 80s. Still living in stetchworth AFAIK.Derek Level ? was a character and a old school salesman.
Yes I saw her a few weeks backShirley was still there
Sadly I passed about 8 lorry loads of Amazone kit coming out of there this week…Only just heard about this, sad news as they’ve been there all the time I’ve been farming. Although we’ve never dealt with them until our previous BB rep moved there a few months back. Actually bought a Amazone spreader off them for delivery this month, haven’t heard from the rep since last week when he asked for vat number. I assume this won’t go through now?
Better get on to Pecks at ElySadly I passed about 8 lorry loads of Amazone kit coming out of there this week…
Hi Tish, please pass my very best to your father and I am truly sorry that it has all come to an unfortunate end.Hi. Yes My Dad, David Eley has sadly had to close Suffolk Agri Centre, Pakenham after over 30 years.
Dad just ran out of money… He has put in a lot over the past few years from his own pocket & private pension but in the end with such low margins it was inevitable.
There were lots of David’s there. But let’s not forget Colin & Chris too. David Proctor, Filby & Newton & all The boys were a super bunch & helped many including myself on secret missions if I’d run out of petrol or bumped the car (not telling dad). I hope they all get jobs soon, I’m so sorry
Thank you all for your support here.
