Sumo drill issues

Ive got a Sumo DD3 (same metering as DTS) drill and and i am having a metering issues with it. only in certain fields i've had the problem. Ill be drilling no problem and no codes, signal loss, or metering issues but when the crop has germinated there appears to be patches in the field that hasnt had enough seed, or any put out. Spoken to sumo and they dont seem to know why this is happening. When drilling im seeing a differance between the tractor speed and what speed the drill box is reading, at worst 3 Kph differance, coukd it be down to the signal the gps reciving causing the problem, or am i doing something wrong. And ive only had the issue on brassics nothing in cereals yet

^^^ gets my vote too.
Assuming you’ve got a depth switch on the top link then I’ve had similar when the switch is right on the switching point. Only realise when the dickey john beeps and then you notice the seedwheel running symbol is starting / stopping temporarily.
If not could it be the speed signal? Is that coming from the radar or off gps signal?

the drill is set off the gps signal, and yes i do have one of those switches but in not sure the switch position is at fault as in one area i had 25 acres in 6 different fields. had the issue in 2 of them and the rest are drilled perfect, and the fields were not done imidietly after each other. one was the first field other the third. Im want to try and take a radar reading from the CAN plug off the tractor but cant seem to get a cable to connect it to the system and Sumo dont seem to understand what i want to do.

Not sumo drill, but mine has a low fan speed alarm, if this goes off it stops the bleeding metering unit.
Easy fix lower the alarm setting.
Could be other alarms/warnings causing it too I guess.

I know a guy that had a dts leaving skylark plots everywhere. Eventually worked out it was a dicky fan speed sensor which makes sense with what the others are saying about it shutting the metering off.
