Mini x9945?
Mini x9945?
Someone saiditv you have a good crop it is not that bad , otherwise you really need pans but they are not normally available here.
Keep your reel so it only just touches them or it will take the lot over the top. A bat reel comes into its own in sunflower
wind nearly minimum as they are very light, but the rubbish is even lighter
Drive as hard as you can to try and catch them
if it is s poor catchy crop you will lose a huge amount
if you have a thick crop they ripen wellSomeone said
reel up wind down
Low enough to just get them and drive like I stole it
Sieves half open , 1/3 wind ,10 on the cylinder and 800/850 on the drum to start.Any hints tips to combining sunflowers?
JD combine walker machine
Sieves half open , 1/3 wind ,10 on the cylinder and 800/850 on the drum to start.
Without pans cut high and reel forward a bit and match forward reel speed to forward speed.
Will lose some heads!!
Probably not would like a chance at testing themThey will never be dry in the uk anyway?
There was a scale for Sunflower Seed (46D) over the range 5-13%. Unfortunately I don’t have it at present.
Looking at the Protimeter Calibration Data Table, the closest seed would be flax. There was a scale for Sunflower Seed (46D) over the range 5-13%. Unfortunately I don’t have it at present.
What I am not able to confirm is what seed is similar enough to base the standard charts against.
The following are listed - perhaps someone knows an agronomist or seed agent who could advise further.
I am happy to help if I can but my knowledge is Marconi meters and servicing repairs etc. but not seed variants.
Other, maybe similar seeds were listed under the standard calibrations for A3 & M3 scales on all (Marconi) meter types... (I have A3 & M3 scales)...
Beet seeds
Brassica seeds
Canary seeds
Copra seeds
Cotton seeds (seed cake & seed meat)
Flax seed
Maize
Grass seed
Meal & Flour (Wheat, Rye, Maize, Barley, Oats, Canary Seed)
Oatmeal & Flour
Trefoil, Beet, Swede & Brassica
Rape
Hope it helps
