all the public I meet adore farmers....unfortunately they havn't a clue....and what's worse neither do those at the top in govt
All the public I meet like farmers maybe I miss placed my words earlier… but they certainly don’t respect us or understand what we do or care what we do … 99% of general public Iv met/ talked too think we’re rolling around in money from government subsidies and we’re that rich we don’t really need more money for our produce because the government give us so much we don’t know what too do with it 😂 Iv personally never has a penny off government

I understand what you mean, but then I often think “Do I understand or respect what it takes to make a car? Or a pair of jeans? Or even to be a nurse or a doctor?”

Inconvenience the supermarkets but not the public. Any produce that is badly labelled or misleading, put it in a trolley and take it to a different area and leave it. The message will get across if enough people do it.

If they want to do something useful they could support the MP who is calling for a 'buy British' filter on online shopping.

Must be somebody on here involved in this protest. What are the demands ? Specifically.

Maybe they don’t hate us, but they definitely don’t have much sympathy with us. They see us as better off than them already . Any shortages in the supermarkets which can conceivably be blamed on farmers protesting won't help that situation at all.
Many farmers (not all) are better off than them Do they have sympathy for farmers, maybe for some things but most wouldn't have a clue what a farmers life involves.
That works the other way too of course, there's certainly not much sympathy for the public or understanding of their lives displayed on here.
As for wanting cheap food, we all want things as cheap as we can get them don't we?

Hard to think of anything more likely to get the public to hate farmers than a protest about "low food prices" when the public are complaining about the high cost of food.
That bolloxs really, speak to people and explain how farmers are treated and they think we are mad for putting up with it. All farmers should get involved in these protests, farmers have never stuck together but we ought to now.
