Suzuki king quad blowing fuel pump fuses

Has anyone had a Suzuki king quad that blows the fuel pump fuse even with ignition off.?
Not sure if it's related or not, but the dash is totally blank too.

Any suggestions on where I might look for a simple fix, or just hand it over to the professionals?

id likely start by looking for trapped or chaffed cables rubbing against the frame etc. has it been excessively wet recently?
