T shaped bolts

Hi. I have an area of slat that i need to bolt a plate and post to..

Is there something like a T shaped bolt that i can push down the slot. Turn 90 degrees and secure to a plate on top of the slat.

The T section of the bolt needs to be quite wide as the slat is quite wide.

I'm hoping there os otherwise I'm going to have to make up a sandwich plate and crawl through some skinny places..

Thankyou!

I just make my own when needing to bolt to slats, a length of threaded rod welded to a length of angle iron.

Thankyou for replies , ideas and suggestions really want to make bolts stainless steel as they're going to be in pretty unpleasant environment for a long time. I'd thought of making them ourselves but been put off by the fact that we can only galvanise the things after unless i find some stainless steel i guess?

I had to take some out last year that had been in place since 1997 and although they were pretty rusty and wouldnt unscrew they were still structurally sound.

2 Threaded rods 12mm & length of 50mm angle here to create a U. Leave one of the threaded rods 9" longer so you can get down the slats & up again. (If you see what I mean ) Saw to length when fixed
