Elatus Plus straight SDHI - 0.75 is full rate
How much do the syngenta boffins etc reckon you need to get the claimed benefits in a lowish disease pressure situation?
Got 0.65 on my rec sheet (with full rate epoxi and CTL)
Experience based opinions especially welcome.

Elartus Era generally recommend at 0.8 which gives 60g.
0.6 Elartus Plus would give the same SDHI dose.

Interestingly have one agronomist advising not to be too worried about 2/3 flag leaf emergence but to concentrate more on keeping gaps between 14-17 days given the two big rain events we've had. On that approach I should have carried on spraying yesterday.

Seriously 14-17 days?? He’s having a laugh. In the past before the curative action diminished everyone used to go 28 days. It then came down to 21 but any sooner than that makes you wonder whether the stuff does any good at all!

Anybody used/using ceratovo plus?

That's the straight SDHI Benzovindiflupyr used in Elatus Era and others. Is it part of one of Syngenta's packages with overpriced CTL/triazoles?

Ceratavo Plus pack gives you a 5 litre can of Ceratavo Plus (100g/l Benzovindiflupyr) and a 10l can of Daconil (500g/l CTL)

0.6 l/ha of Ceratavo plus is equivalent to the benzovindiflupyr in 0.8l/ha Elatus Era but without a triazole. You can then add in a triazole of your choice at a rate of your choice - epoxiconazole is stronger on rusts (especially brown rust), prothioconzole is stronger on fusarium and mildew, both very similar on septoria.

Last season, where disease pressure was much lower here, I went with a flag leaf emerged application of 0.5 l/ha Ceratavo Plus + 1l/ha Daconil + 0.75 l/ha generic epoxiconzole. The price worked out favourably compared to similar options. I was very pleased with the results.

This season, after pricing many different options, (a few examples below) I'm currently considering 0.6 l/ha (minimum) Ceratavo Plus + 1l/ha Daconil/generic CTL + 0.75l/ha generic epoxiconazole. This application works out at just over £39/ha.

0.8l/ha Elatus Era + 1l/ha CTL = £43.30/ha

1.25 Adexar + 1l/ha CTL = £44/ha

1.25 Ascra + 1l/ha CTL = £46.80/ha

and if your brave!!

0.75l/ha generic epoxiconazole + 1l/ha CTL = £15/ha

Yep does make you wonder whether the stuff does any good! Not helped by certain large serviced agronomy firms still peddling very expensive formulations of stacked triazoles. Brutus/Kestrel type stuff being chucked around locally to partner SDHI's I hear on the grapevine, all at rates that don't quite stack up to half rate of the individual triazoles concerned. Can anyone explain how mixing low rates of old chemistry helps protect against resistance and protect against growing concerns/prevalence of SDHI resistance. Any triazole should be used at a minimum of 3/4 rate in my opinion and alternated at timings, not tank mixed at low rates. Who benefits.............? Disappointing that short-term profits are given priority over resistance management guidelines. Not used any SDHI's yet, saved it for T2, hope it will work this year!!!!

This thread shouldnt be about cost, more like disease control and how much extra margin a certain treatment should make over its rivals....

I agree, but I was answering Brisel's comment about the Ceratavo pack price containing inflated cost trizole/CTL and just used examples to show that actually it is priced quite well. I think you would find it hard to argue that all of the options shown, with the exception of CTL + epoxi would probably give a similar level of control. I could find trials data that would prove that each of the options is the best - just depending where you look.
