T2o clutch

Hi hope alls well with you guys .got a t20 petrol nice little tractor but today started up fine put trailer on then found when let clutch out it grabbed halfway and was out no inbetween if you get me ? Had topper on this afternoon been exactly the same let out half way then bang your off ! Any ideas? Thanks in advance regards rich.

Could be contaminated with oil or even just a bit rusty.
My usual fix for this is select top gear, plenty of throttle, stand on the brakes and give the clutch a good slipping for 5-8 seconds.

Hi thanks for your reply . Makes sence regarding oil as noticed some leaking a bit under middle when parked up . We only use it once week to empty stable muck then bit of pasture topping will defo try that in next couple of days and get back best wishes rich. Ps will clutch be buggered ?

Hi thanks for your reply very kind of you to go to the trouble of diagrams. Am not sure regarding regarding adjustment will try follow diagrams and see have not had chance to do anything today been busy , it just seems strange its come out the blue yesterday no problem before but surpose that's how everything happens will post back when I get chance to investigate next few days many thanks once again kind regards rich.

Clutch grabbing , my instinct would be contamination, oil. Possibly clean off , clutch cleaner. If ur going in there once do u want to go back in if cleaning didn't work first time to renew the clutch....
New pilot , and thrust bearing while ur in there, and obviously find were the oil coming from and sort .
Not a bad machine to work on, or indeed learn on.

Thank you for your reply .not had it going yet since other day like you say if it comes down to it will replace the lot while we are at it (or someones at it ) dont want having to do it twice ! Thanks again best wishes rich.
