We have a few cows with high cells in one quarter but dont look any different when striped, looking for a way to identify these quarters for relief milkers.I remember years ago we had tail tape with numbers on them, does anyone still do them?

1 tape for front 2 tapes for rear on the leg of the same side you want to identify. Have seen people use green for one side and yellow for the other that way you can tape both legs.

Red for treatment cows
Blue for new calvers
Green for 3 titters/high cell counts etc here all on the legs and plenty of it.

Yellow tape on tail for a 3 titter and red spray on the affected quarter......if you can't see the red spray it'll be the front quarter on the blind side. Have only got the one at the moment it's easy to see as it's a back quarter.

Just got these last week, yellow for rear, pink for front. Seems really good so far, a little more permanent than udder spray.
