We had a local hauler ask for some as available wheat. So I said come in the field then. We loaded it up straight from the combine around 5 o clock that evening. Got rejected the next morning for grain wevil. And then got told by the merchant that we haven’t cleaned the store out properly.
Could have been weevil in lorry

Add abattoirs aswell
cousin sent 4 cattle in the other week
3 off them killed out the wights he expected
1 was massively lighter
when he challenged them on the wight they said it was right
It was only when he showed them a photos of each of the cattle on weybridge before they left farm that they came back to say some in the office put the wrong wight in

Seems like was in spec for germination during the months you sold it for.

Germination will only ever reduce as time goes on.

So of the picked it up after the contract period, then it's their fault.

I agree with the sentiment but isn't it the case that germination can come back in the spring?

Doesn't really in my experience. Kept malting barley 12 months a few times now and still 98-99% germination.

You have to move it to wake it up/break dormancy. We ran it through mobile drier but went in okay.

Ah right, OK, I'll listen to your experience. Don't grow malting barley, so guess I should have kept quiet, and not guessed!!
