I think red meat in regards of cuts of meat is ok and good for you in moderation, not every day that is,
however the processed meat I am not sure, the likes of burgers just contain all the shite and additives mixed up, they even have to add colouring to make it look like beef should have a tax on it, god knows what goes in to the mix to get the end result, as is seems the declaration on the packet is nothing to go by, take the horse meat for instance,
and think the labeling needs a full and concise overhaul, years ago while at the local coop getting some ham (what I thought was good quality ham off the bone) after getting mine there was nothing left on the bone, I asked if they were throwing it out, could I have the bone for the dog, the reply was "its a plastic bone that gets sent back", so how can people make a choice of what they eat if its miss sold, this needs to stop, and proper labeling needs to be put in place,
so maybe leave all proper cuts of meat tax free, and maybe processed meats with a tax in place on it,

The 5th quarter is where the profit is. Be careful what you wish for.
