This Tb compensation is totally inadequate , how can they get away with it values in Feb/March tables are way to low, especially for the younger stock , I have lost a quarter of my herd over the last few months, still under restriction been given a licence to buy stock in now.
I feel totally shafted on it,The increase of beef price is a going to cost me , Every thing more expensive input wise as well , to top it all off.
They most be others this spring in same situation, I Know we just have to just suck it up, but it can not be right paying less than market value.Untill you get out of restrictions any bought in only will be paid half compesation if they go down with Tb too. A great way to lose money.
