Has anyone lost large numbers of cows through TB and if so how did you fair out with compo??

In England whether it's a single animal or a herd, compensation is for that animal only and is a calculated formula based on previous market sales.

Unless you have insurance, which is getting as rare as hens' teeth, there is no compensation for the inevitable consequential losses associated with long breakdowns. These can mean loss of sales and income or conversely, the inability to sell calves and store cattle profitably, leading to overstocking.
