Teaser tup possibilty?

I have a pedigree texel tup lamb, born early Feb, with only one testicle. Is it worth having the vet do a vasectomy and keep him as a teaser for our commercial flock? Will he still have the desired effect if he's done as a lamb rather than let him mature for a year or so? Or will he not be as effective with only one ball to start with?

We use tup lambs. They work fine. Don't know about the one ball question though.
