Telehandler woes

Bought a 61 plate JCB 531-70 last year with 3000 hours and it's been nothing but trouble. Am planning on cutting my losses and getting rid of it before I get busy again.

I only need a handler for loading the drill and loading out wheat. I probably only use one for 300 hours per year, hence I can't see the point of buying anything too flashy or new.

So, if used telehandlers are (as I've been told) a complete lottery, would a long term hire deal on a new one stack up? What kind of payments would I be looking at?

I'm not fussed about manufacturer. As long as it's reliable.

Transmission playing up.
Prop shaft snapping - and then getting replaced and making more weird noises.
Leaking axles.
Steering selector failing.
4 wd not engaging.
Auto gearbox not working properly.

It's the first JCB I've had since the early 1990's, and I'm not impressed one bit. :-(

Should have bought a Claas.
