It’s connects to my home internet but can u use the terminal to display internet data or can one hook up an iPhone to it to use its big screen.

Another question someone may already have an answer for. The tractor has a Jd reversing camera mounted on the cab above the back window dead center. When you flick the tractor into reverse you can’t see the drawbar hook on the Jd terminal screen even when the hook is fully extended because the top link blocks the view of the hook. Anyone found a better location?

Noooo Brisel, it’s a hydraulic top link and you won’t take that off or move it anywhere. Even if it weren’t the top link stays in place ready for work.

We took the hydraulic top link off our 6215R as we kept banging our heads on it & we couldn't see the pickup either. I put a normal one on & there's no problem with visibility now. Why complicate matters?

If you can connect the tractor terminal to your home WiFi, then connecting to your phones WiFI hotspot for internet access from the terminal will work in the same way.

As for "projecting" your iPhone screen onto the tractor terminal, the answer is no it won't work.

Brisel, are u using a camera to see the hook or what? On either of mine if u drop the hook down enough to say pick the dump trailer u loose visibility of the hook hence the need for a camera. Also If u get up enough of the seat to lean back to see the hook the seat sensor will immobilize the tractor. That’s why I want to know is there a food place to locate the camera. Where it is now is useless.

I bolted one to the guard above the PTO.....worked really well till I went subsoiling and the hydrailic toplink went really low ...didnt end well for the camera

Would ideally like an adjustable camera from within the cab so that I can look down at hook when picking a trailer or have it looking back wide behind me for other occasions. Perhaps fitted to rear window inside?

Why not get a magnetic camera that sends the image to your phone. Can be mounted under pto guard for hitch work and anywhere else you require it for other jobs

How short are you that can't see without a mirror or camera ??

The R's are a little more blind to the hitch but nothing serious our harvest help is a bit vertically challenged compared to us and he manages just about fine

Not vertically challenged at all but if the trailer is say 6 inches of the ground a giraffe would not see the hook. The technology is on the tractor I want to use it.

Dont drop the trailor so its sat 6 inches off the ground then. Put it on blocks so your hooks out and visible say at 60% on the linkage rather than no block and 40% and out of eye view

Thanks Agrimark for the tip but said dump trailer and other trailers are on their own stands and that’s how high they sit so don’t want bothering with blocks or anything else. Want to use the existing technology correctly.

You'll want one on the inside of a mudgaurd somewhere then or about the pto guard.
I'm just shy 6ft and can get a sunken trailer dug out the ground with all our JD's by looking out the back no bother the R and our 75 are the worst but its the air brake fittings that block the view a bit

I’ll admit the op is right. I have as do many others, a camera on back of my 4x4. It makes hitching a trailer easy. Yes I could go back to a mark on the rear window but it’s called progress hence we are discussing this on the new fangeled internet! Black magic!

Is the real solution for the hook to be able to push out another 3 inches? It’s annoying if u lean back in the seat as the seat sensor parks the tractor. I did not have this issue with the other 155r that I can remember.
