damn good job to , ought to be the norm for anywhere in the country , dogs are basically hunting when off the lead disturbing domestic and wildlife, may help with dog worrying sheep , my only thoughts regard this is it will increase problems elsewhere

Having had three German Shepherd dogs off the lead run at me and jump up while walking along a field footpath this year I could not agree more with this.

Just imagine what it would be like if out and about with a toddler as many families do.

As well as dogs, i think domestic cats cause lots of problems to wildlife and should be curbed too, and that is without even starting on Badgers and Crows/Magpies!

they arnt banned for walking footpaths , just banned from being off the lead , and no more than 3 dogs as obviously they cant be controlled properly .

Would depend if Public right of way or just permissive access, if the latter assume they can make their own rules

To many people breeding stupid dogs for quick ££ and to many people buying them as pets to give a proper walk once or twice a week And spend the rest of there lives locked in the house waiting for there owners to come home

I’ve nothing against dogs my terrier comes with me everywhere All day every day but if I had a different job I wouldn’t have one...

Make it compulsory to pass a test before being allowed to own a dog. You have to pass a test for just about everything else, except maybe procreation.

Instant Sit/Down and Re-call over 100m as the minimum. That would sort them out!

Think the domestic cat does far more harm to wildlife than dogs, how it’s legal for a cat to roam other peoples property killing native birds/Mammals many of which are protected species i have no idea.
