The TFF Charity Calendar is now entering its fourth year and we are starting the ball rolling a bit earlier this year. As always you can enter by the form and that has been made even easier. You can now do 5 photos per form and you can do multiple forms if you would like. Limit for photo is 10mb via the form. We have also introduced a few categories:

  • Professional
  • Amateur
Remember, for images to be used as the big images on the calendar, they will need to be around 4000 x 3000 pixels (new Iphone/Samung quality)

You can also enter by adding pictures to this thread, but they will only be able to be used as the smaller photos. We have been putting 5-6 pictures on a page. A couple of example from last year are below:

June
June 2019 - Copy (Medium).jpg

May

November

Please suggest ideas for charities this year, we intend to keep it at A3 fold out size to showcase the quality of the pictures. As before @chaffcutter will be judge on this one and once all the photos are in we will be publishing them for voting.

How do you distinguish between a professional and an amateur? The line was always a little blurred now it's a huge grey zone twixt the two.

If you get paid to take photos your are a professional. If you don't get paid you can still compete in the Olympics!

If doesn't overly matter, but we like to include a mix of professional and amateur photos.

Oh jeez Chris, try that explanation on a photo forum and you'll be eaten alive! One of the oldest and most contentious subjects in the hobby/trade. But anyway, I'll bung a few in.

Have you taken any land out of production from last autumn?

  • Yes
