Glad you are in the pink Frank and firing on all cylinders.
Be a patient patient and recuperate back to your old redoubtable self.
I'm sure NE and the RPA are missing you already.

All the best, another moral- don’t be annoyed at paying tax, we all might need it back at some point!

Many thanks for the kind words, yes I am trying to be a good patient, at least my wife is wielding a big stick and says if I don't do as I am told I won't be getting looked after.
At least NFU work has kept my brain active as you may have heard on Farming Today yesterday morning and I did a piece via Skype on Sky News all about live exports.

NE have finally paid me after I managed to get a single individual to talk to. RPA however are a basket case as when I looked on my site on my return from hospital it has the 2016 line reappeared and saying preparing for payment.
I wondered if you had put in a good word to Mr Caldwell for me and they have taken pity and given me last years payment again!!

I also had the scan when I was 65, luckily I was ok and was told that if you were alright at that age you were highly unlikely to develop an aneurism. I told a neighbour about the scan,he had not been called even though his father had died of it-he arranged to have the scan, all well.

@Frank-the-Wool I had an op years ago that involved a similar incision, you don't realise how much you use your stomach muscles etc until someone has been cutting their way through. Even lifting your arms up was painful, Take things easy and do as instructed it will pay off in the long term.

Glad to hear you're on the road to recovery. Very best wishes(y)

On a slightly lighter note....

I'm a touch disappointed you let them use man made fibre - surely you of all people should have had something 'knitted' out of wool:whistle:

:p:p
Keep smiling(y)

Actually wool has been used for medical purposes over the years, however I left the decision on the pipework to the Consultant.

Wool is of course Keratin and when broken down into individual cells can be used in many ways. Films have been made from it for protecting burns and damaged skin.
The cost of manufacture is unfortunately too high to be commercially manufactured.
