Who judges these machine/tractor of the year competitions!? What is so special about a Claas Axion 850 compared to all other tractors? It's just a bog standard tractor. Same basic shape as a Grey Fergie but with a few bells and whistles on. No amazing engineering breakthroughs at all.

When a company launches a tractor with a robust, reliable and usable linkage system that hitches and un-hitches without me getting out of the cab I'll be impressed. The only other thing I'd ask for would be suspension all round like every other vehicle seems to have. JCB seem to manage it ok so why the others don't bother is beyond me.
