Big gap between cows and clean. Did they not get down to only 40p difference at one point?
Yes your right, all last year cows were £4 when clean was only £4.40
Historically there's always been about a £1 difference between the two

I’ve got a few to go but I think it will pay keeping them till after new year. Do no harm getting a bit more weight on.
Cows "usually" see a price rise in the new year as the general public eat cheaper meat after over spending at christmas. Some of these old trends dont follow though abit like the sheep highs for religeous festivals because firms have filled up early to avoid fuelling prices

That trend makes sense. That's a long way (in more ways than one) from 4.90 at Burradon. Another ABP plant was very keen to trump them but neither got mine last week.

You’ll need a better base price than anywhere with the camera grading and grid that goes with it especially on dairy bred

Fully agree. Mine are all dairy bred and were manually graded.
I can work things out with the abp plants when they want cattle; it's a dead loss when they are easier found.
