Cows are Pickstocks forte really, I don't think they've been doing clean for very long and have only got a handful of contracts with a few restaurants chains that are a bit hit and miss with demand I'm lead to believe, it's good that they have moved into clean though as hopefully it will increase competition in the market place a bit more longer term.

I sent a few clean cattle about 3 years ago.Seemed to weigh well and grades were ok,all gone to Langport lately tho and no complaints.

Where would be the best place in the north to send Friesian and Lim x Steers. Friesian are o+ grades and Lim x are R grades Fats are generally 4L with the odd 4H.

Probably Dunbua Sawley. Their headline price never that great but the grading is good, you’ll never get Fr. into O+ with those camera graders but you will there

Probably just recognising that those plainer ones were all being manually priced anyway.

Grid is still only half the story, if the grades are out of kilter.
