Mine was 625 super 2 then 835 hated that so brought the 865 myself then jd1085 now tx68 in case red1st combine i drove was a 525

This. In that era MF broke to pieces, JD fell to pieces, claas were ok but expensive parts and pre vista cab was a bit pants. TX 66/68 took, and still takes, some beating.tx 6 range

CTS prob best of the bunch but yr2000 was more the numbered jd’s weren’t they? That was a pivotal couple of years were most makes revamped their offering to be fair wasn’t it? I lusted after an axial flow and had a couple of summers on a 2188 around that time…vastly underwhelmed. If it’s a scorching hot summer with brittle straw; yes yes yes but how often do/did we get them?!Are you deliberately avoiding any love for the Axial flow here?
What year did the John Deere CTS come in? They were alright, no? Seemed to go ok at the time?
