The car industry

It probably will, but ultimately you are potentially the sale of 1 low profit car they don't want to make anymore. Ford don't care about you or what you want.
It might come back to bite them when folk realise they don't build a good enough quality of vehicle to charge premium brand prices but then the premium brands ain't exactly keeping the standards high either these days.
If you follow the yearly sales stats, Fiesta sales were in sharp decline, and Puma sales had taken over and were continuing to grow. Smaller, tall, pretend SUV sales now dominate the sales charts. Buyers are turning away from conventional cars, and manufacturers such as Ford are reacting to buyer demand. If that helps their profits, what are they doing wrong?

What is it with tyres these days, Dad had a 280SE Merc on 185x14 tyres, they were considered large tyres at the time.

I've got Tiguan on 235.40x20 Any lower profile and you're almost riding on the rims, potholes are a menace to such tyres and don't need to be so deep to cause damage.
You can buy cars on smaller wheels with taller profile tyres. Your complaint about 20" wheels is entirely self inflicted

What model was the best seller? A pet hate of mine is fancy climate control nonsence.i prefer 3 knobs that can be turned without taking my eyes off the road
Apparently VW are all touch nonsense now and they’re going back to buttons because of customer complaints. I think it’s only the chino wearing vegans in their teslas that actually want touch screens

My son lass has recently bought a fancy golf , she got smaller wheels with taller profile tyres as the road to the farm from town just destroys low profiles . Potholes cattle grids the roads are such a state its a wonder anyone buys new car let alone low profile tyres .

Car dealers ain’t hungry enough to shift stock yet. I went to a dealer looking to swap the scary finance lady’s motor, took a price to swap from another dealer with me.

They ended up letting me walk away without selling me a car.

I’ve always had low profile tyres, find genuine alloys, and Michelin will stand a lot, can be off putting with the bangs at times, but I’m a tart and like the look of them

Freeze brander here yesterday. Said he’d bought a new to him car a few days earlier. The salesman was obviously eage to meet targets and told my brander he was actually making a £100 loss on the car. With great speed of thought, the braNader replied, that’s like being a farmer then, selling everything at a loss! Chap wasn’t amused.

I am sure a dealer said to me, electric car delivery straight away, petrol or diesel, up to one year wait, all because the government has decided car manufacturers have to sell a percentage of electric vehicles and will be fined if they don't.
I hope they never sell anything like they think there going too.
Ive not the slightest bit of interest in electric car purchasing

I'll even go on record apart from the dream of a RS3 with that 5pot or maybes a RS4/RS6 no petrol car floats my boat neither
Turbo Diesel every day end of. ill keep them going for as long as i can drive i hope.

If prefer anything with 6cylinders, was 2008 before I ever drove a diesel car I liked tbh they are good now. But I think an Alpina B3 would be my dream, failing that a 340i would be a nice second

Dream here would be a GT3RS, apart from the fact that it’s beyond my budget 🤦 that’s unlikely to be a problem as my “spend” wouldn’t get me an allocation 🤣
