I do... even heavy chain harrows in both directions gives them a hurry up. Once they've had their then even lambs gobble them up, best if you can get them eaten and get those nutrients in the cycle.. thats why I don't spray at all; waste not=want not[/QUOTE
I don't suppose it works on thistles?
Thistles are best crushed in the rain or mulched when it's raining in my experience. Especially Californian thistle, don't know if theyre such a problem in the UK as here? Rain helps bring out a fungus, think its Verticillium from memory, and dragging a leveller or mowing mulching in the rain seems to really hurt them, by spreading it around and infecting all the topsI don't suppose it works on thistles?

trouble is the einboking will just encourage dock seed to grow for a nice new flush of seedlings ...could harrow them out i suppose .......Absolutely not
