Not a big fan of RT, not the premium scheme it was sold to us as. My worry if it is scrapped is we lose the brand which the general public do recognise as british produced. I also believe it will be far easier for retailers to dupe customers into buying foreign produce without the RT branded food. RT should have been owned and run by british farmers , it seems to have been hijacked along the way and lost its core principles . Far to many farms were allowed to join before they could meet the standards so it just watered down the premium scheme it could of been.

RT, and its wall eyed cousin, Scottish Quality Cereals.

They used to be reasonable to deal with, before someone in shiny shoes thought that farmers would just roll over and accept 15 different flavours of ‘mission creep’.
We were SQC many moons ago then moved coz RT was cheaper but likely nowt in it now
there all a big con & of no financial gain too us personally
I also remember the much talked about premium we would get for being in there club...
Never seen a penny of that.

RT should have been owned and run by Jimmy saville as he'd of been better than nfu / brc, it seems to have been hijacked along the way and lost its core principles . Far to many farms were forced to join or had their access to markets blocked.
Hi hope you don't mind I've edited your post as I am an online fact checker to avoid misinformation.

I think your wrong tbh and once we find out who is correct it will be too late, and we will be swamped with imported shite which will be branded in british colours.🤷‍♂️
