The Demo Thread

I once inquired about an ex-demo pickup when i went to the dealers it just came back in the yard towing a trailer with a tractor on it and im not talking a garden tractor it was a sixty hp job
And surely that should be well within its towing limit? A Ford 5000 and flatbed is a lot lighter, than a14ft triaxle full of stock. Plus it would be better balanced, with a low nose weight on the pickup.

New Holland users…of the new current type.

When I turn the key to start I get the sound of the engine turning over but it sounds like it’s coming from the intelliview screen and sounds crap.

Is it playing a recording???

Hmmm I’m not fully sure what your meaning but mines not like that, it just sounds like the engine turning over.
Can you video what your meaning?

It sounds like a recording. Exactly the same each time. And very tiny and not like it sounds if I have the door open.

Very odd really.

This is a very brave question to post in front of very opinionated people 😂

Opinions always welcome 😂

it hauled two loads of wheat 18 miles each way today. Gearbox is lovely. Cab is nice. Comfortable on road. Pulls nicely on road and up hills. The variable gear changes make a big difference.

Would like to get it on ground work but nothing much needed doing right now.

Ok; don’t buy it! What’s the new method of working out NH horsepower? Take the number on the bonnet; minus 50%, add 10hp depending whether the pto is on, engine is warm and wind is in the east? 😉 I’ll never forget; bearing in mind we used to have NH; the NH rep saying never touch one above 175hp 😂 we had TS’s at the time and were moving up to the TM so I’m sure a lot has changed but it stuck with me.

The seat makes a huge difference to comfort, I assume it’s got the dynamic comfort one, heated etc. There’s also 2 electric lumbar support buttons on the rear of the backrest you can fiddle with. What gearbox have you used until now?
We’ve both a dynamic command and an autocommand and they are both great, but the autocommand is next level.

Not found the lumbar buttons. It is the comfort one with heat and the sliding back rest and nice place to park my bum.

Gearbox is dynamic command.

It’s been a very good tractor. Low running cost and well spec’d. Front links and pto. Front service. 4 electric spools. 50k and air. BKT tyres at 60% left.
