Oh and you need to be a monkey to get up and put the starfire dome on. There is steps up the side and one the other side of exhaust to stand on but the exhaust is that big you can’t get round it. Poor design
Surely JD will have strengthened the bonnet, ladder up the front, job’s a good un!

Wouldn't know I can't afford a Deere. The one I drive for work has one. Greenstar seems so plug and play with JD tractors I'd probably stay with a normal one so I could swap them around.

I can’t afford one either so have to stick with Fendt.

Talking with a guy the other day who has a 8r370 coming before seeding. Brandt have offered him 200k cash to not take it.

What??? Boss is ment to have an 8r coming. Not sure when though. He's employed the service manger as the new farm manger and his connections don't even know where the tractor is.

Was told by a neighbour he ordered a magnum but decide he could go with out the tractor and really needed an sp. Reckons he wouldn't he over much cash for the change plans.

They have people that will pay more that 200k over this guys buy price. The market is screwed at moment it’s not funny.

I will have a 936 Fendt for sale at end of year. Wouldn’t be surprised if I get close to what I paid for it. Will be 3 yr old with 5000 hrs on it.

It's mental. If you can wait new gears the cheap option now. The prices you see on FB and the like for second hand gear especially Deeres is mental. 100k for 300 hp tractors with 9000hrs.

Not a dig at you but do you own both?
Familys all New Holland's. Drive Deere's for work and there nice. Simple to understand lay outs and the like but at the end of the day I'm Dutch and money talks.

Our dealing with the local JD dealer is they couldnt care less about customer service for us. We are not big clients for them where by the local new holland dealers standards we are a larger customer. So I'll admit that's has an effect on service.

If I wasn't paying and service was comparable it would be a hard choice to look pass JD.

With the deere you certainly have more money tied up but after that initial investment they work out better for me than the new holland, (still have two of each but got rid of the newer NH) , interesting comment about the cab because I hated the new holland cab, swivel seat and spend all day banging the seat into the corner.

Deeres cabs feels bigger probably because the screens mounted lower on the arm and a better finnished off in general. Seat doesn't come around as far in the New holland which is a little annoying and the lack of a passive movement setting is really annoying now I'm used to the Deere's

Got this on demo at the moment. Feels big (especially with the loader on at the moment) but is a really nice place to spend your time and probably wouldn't take too much to get used to it as there isn't actually that much difference compared to the size of the current tractors
