It'll only be 25 days work to him but it's getting the 25 dry days at the right time is the problem over here.
@Speedstar would be better running 2 sets of triples on a 720/724 to increase output on first dry day of each 'window' and still have sensible sized tractors for other work and best resale value.

Surely you've just got used to being well overpowered with what you've had for a few years ? That'll be more than ample for running triples?

on hills with 10 meter mowers it was under powered , with conditioners right on

there's a 6250r near here cutting 5000 + acres a year mostly heavy single cut grass with 9m triples I'd better tell him he's needing more power

the lad that drives that told me he would like more power to do that job if his boss would buy a bigger horse , but the problem is JD do not make a tractor any bigger with front P.T.O that is any good

why bother trying a deere in that case? an itch to scratch?

We must be thinking of a different man then . When he had a 6215 he said that but when he got the wider mowers but now he's got the 250 he's fine.

Well beleave it or not the 939 had a tighter turning circle than the 6250, but its an open book yet & we have not made our minds up about any thing yet

Its an open book yet & we wanted to try one to see how it all worked & to see if our 939 was over kill on the mowers, lad driving it would be happy in a Deere if it was the tractor for the job

No not yet waiting on the demo tractor, a few sold down here but none out working yet will be later in the year before they start coming from the factory
