One of our farm dogs, a 2 yr old cocker bitch (sorry that should be the word for a female dog, not crab, but auto-edit thinks that that is a rude word) that works nicely, jumped out of a tractor cab today. Caught its leg in the step slats and kept going. £2,500 to repair,-dog not tractor,- if it was old or useless we probably wouldn't bother. Almost the worst thing was that it was an accident I had warned about.

Nice to see a Bedlington, dont see them much anymore, and the Mastiff urghh all that slobber.
I couldn't live with the mastiff. He's a friendly beast but as you say, dribbles everywhere. The Bedlington came from a rescue a few years back and he's been a great companion animal but he's not a farm dog really, his prey drive is very high so he's easily distracted!

Rescued a whippet a bit later!! She was brilliant. Had to rehome her as she was just a bit too dominant over our little spaniel.
Before that, we had 2 collies. They now live with my Dad in France (12 and 17 yrs old!!)
