Cheaper land, lower rents, higher protein consumption around the world, mahoosive and growing halal market for sheep meat in EU, better genetics, improved lamb survival rates, better flock health, easy calving maternal beef cows, weight gain from grass, winter grazed forage crops, better grassland management, higher stocking rates, increased consumer resistance to eco disaster farming in S. America, realisation that grassland farming sequestrates carbon and methane is cyclical, new cattle pre stunning techniques for halal slaughter, longer grass growing season from global warming. Feck it. I'm going all in.
