The Guardian

Today I read an article in the Comic that electric cars only lose about 30kg of "matter" during their lifetime.

The article quotes 17,000 litres of fuel for combustion engines. Yet obviously totally declines to account for fuels used to power electric generation and the transmission of that electric. Which may be Nuclear, Gas, Wood. Solar, Wind etc. All of which require to be built and maintained.

BTW any fossil fuels used to power electirc cars will be SIGNIFICANTLY less efficient than putting fuel in your tank due to transmission inefficiencies.

Why is it this Comic is allowed to get away with printing falsehoods ? I tried to complain about the Comic to IPSO but of course the Comic has decided to opt out of press regulation and has it's own "In House" Comic regulators.

We've seen exactly the same for decades now. Biased propaganda. Trashy unscientific rubbish which then finds it's way into government policy. ie Anti GM based on "Super Weeds" breeding with GM plants which don't exist and Anti Livestock based on the rainfall in the Amazon rain forest and stating that rain is what cows consume everywhere in the world.

This Comic is undermining our way of life, it's time this Comic was made accountable for it's deliberate actions.

Forgetting something like solar but the most efficient diesel cars are only 44% efficient at converting the energy used into work a modern gas turbine generator gets about 60%

All transformers lose energy when voltages are raised and lowered - the transformers get hot and magnetic eddy currents in the transformers. All electricity lines also lose power as they also get hot. Plus all electricity distribution boards lose energy.

Batteries also lose energy when it is stored plus they lose energy over time even if the energy is not used. Also to use energy efficiently batteries need to be warmed up.

Do they use it to wipe all the sh!t they spout from their mouths, about sums the beeb up too

But to quote none other than yourself, you can’t believe a word from the BBC. Therefore by extension from the @wanton dwarf book of wisdoms, that is fake news.
