Plenty of moisture to get the barley going.... Lake on chalk and its running down the valley from the village today. If its like that here I feel very sorry for those on heavier or lower ground. Futures jumped £3 in ten minutes today. Deluge related?

If you're talking about the lake, yep, it's growing nicely, just had another massive storm, barley is moving and not just with the tide

It really is the worst winter spring for 20yrs... should tiller well half way down the slope

Rivers and lakes over chalk at 400ft asl.... proper mental and at least the nutrients are lining the lowland floodplains with nutrients for harvest 2025! Lucky them...

Just grim, never seen the water table higher and nor has my 80 year old dad
