Sorry, no numbers... having a couple of weeks off to use up the annual leave!

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-56456312

Have a proper rest, too, eh? I "know" someone working in a hospital setting who's off atm, because of burnout.

With luck, the elders of the team home here will have been jabbed for the first time very soon. Contingencies in place for stock work should any of us have strong reactions, and youngsters readied for deployment (some real life responsibility will be of huge benefit to them).

Worst I`ve heard for reactions is a day of extreme "lethargy" the day after alongside a temperature and feeling like your arm has been punched. Hope it pans out well for you & the team!

Some numbers... there has been a gap due to annual leave, but things are going in the right direction!
78459 people in Leicestershire have tested positive - up from 78333 (increase 126).
35270 (increase of 52) were within the Leicester City Council area.
43189 (increase of 74) cases were reported in the County.

UHL have gone 2 days with no Covid deaths!

Number of positive inpatients is down to around 140.

Defcon Status is 3....... which means routine surgery can restart.

Good to hear, after such a long haul.

The sole reaction other than a sore arm reported by the newly bejabbed team is completely in line with what a comparative few have stated. A feverish feeling within the first two days that passed on topping up water intake. No paracetamol needed.

Me too - yours shouldn't look like this!

Do you know if this test should pick up antibody from vaccination response too or only response to virus? Nothing is mentioned in any of the study literature about vaccination. I have emailed EXCEED and Fortress to ask. If it is not specific to antibody from virus then despite being 8 weeks on from my first Pfizer, I have no antibodies - which might be due to my immunosuppressants.

I used the pippette........ did you use a chainsaw? .... sorry.... :ROFLMAO:
I wouldn`t like to offer an opinion except mine was different with a red line (the test is valid) and a G line.
So I am lgG positive.

Well, no!
However the technology in the test is similar to pregnancy tests, drug wipes and other DIY blood tests. The idea being that folk could get meaningful & accurate tests results much quicker than via a lab.
This trial DIY kit takes about 15 minutes all in.
