Dunno, I've stopped paying attention too much. I'm not sure Farage is the right man for the job, being tainted by brown-nosing Trump recently, and he's a bit of a shite-stirrer.

As I see it, the likes of Farage, Trump, Cummings, Bannon etc are all disrupters who whish to destroy the current democratic setups around the world. They have no actual interest in rebuilding political systems themselves as they are happy to leave this to others, who will naturally rise though the chaos as strong controlling dictators.

How long does a business be closed for if they have 20% of workforce positive for arguments sake?

Any close contacts would have to isolate, so it all depends if the business was allowing all staff to be close contacts. Any sensible business would be working multiple teams by now, to avoid complete shutdown (is it Welshpool that had to shut?)

Would love to see a graph of Leicester figures for the year and how restrictions etc actually affected the trend. Impression I get from just reading your numbers is it's just pretty random.

Bearing in mind there was (effectively) no testing except inpatient blood tests early on.....

is there any way of getting more information on the death statistics ? Other medical conditions , age , weight , ect ? Boy oh boy I’m going to be shot down for asking.

A lady who works a farmers market type stall visited my elderly vulnerable mother today, much to our annoyance. Apparently this lady’s friend who runs a simllar market stall had COVID for 5 days but it “wasn’t too bad” so like a “real stoic” she kept on working serving probably hundreds of customers of all sorts of vulnerabilities.
With this sort of I’m alright Jack stupidity continuing I hold out little hope of staving off a high number of excess deaths this winter.
For god sake people, if you have got it, self isolate and don’t spread it. Think of others for once. I despair at just how thick people are, I really do.
