Frightening to read this.
Free to read.
Thankyou for posting that. There are still too many deniers (sp?) around who have no idea how quickly things can go wrong with this very dangerous virus.
Too many see it as ‘merely’ a respiratory disease. It ain’t!

Had the jab (arranged through one of my employers) yesterday. Arm hurts like hell and headache as well. In other news turns out I haven't had the MMR vaccine, ever and I'll be getting another sore arm next week for that.
Gets people different ways. Dropping logs off at an older couples house this morning .Ona distanced chat I was told they’d had there vaccine yesterday and the wife was laid up in bed and he told me he felt like he had a cold coming on .

Would the post-jab aches, etc, be from the immune system going into learning mode, or would it be more to to with feeling a little stressed by going for the jab?

I know that the first time I had the 'flu jab, my arm felt sore. In my case, though, it was because I had got myself into a tizz, and my arm was tense when vaccinated.

Take a paracetamol a couple of hours before a flu/Covid jab.
And yes, the "blurgh" feeling is your immune system creating cells to fight the invader... then it realises it`s OK so commits the incursion to memory and holds some of the adapted cells in reserve.
