A brief skim of the main document reveals things a lot of us on here have been looking for. However, such good words will probably get lost in the cut and thrust of politics. I note our MP, our neighbouring MP and our member of the House of Lords have all signed up.
I don't spot any Labour or Lib Dem names there (it is the Conservative Environment network!), it would be better if it was cross party.

How do you have a 'member of the House of Lords'?

He is the landlord of our rented in land, tends to call us his "scientific farmers". When we gave up about 800 acres handed back to the estate when my father died, I was appalled at the way it was farmed, but there is now some excellent management and good farming practices prevail.

I was really querying how you could claim a 'Lord', since they aren't elected to an area, or elected at all...

He tends to listen to what his farmers say, so we feel we are represented in the Lords to a certain extent. He was at a meeting of our cluster group last week.
We also have another HoL member in the village who managed to get some legislation modified in line with recommendations from my wife who was teaching pharmacy to paramedics and was lobbying about their access to certain drugs.

Crikey, don't think we have one, let alone two!
Normal for Norfolk?
