Definitely we only breed when we require a replacement for the gang . The depth of pedigree has sold the rest of the litter but normally over subscribed before they’re born with orders Not now !
pepole are definitely requiring hip and elbow score

If I lived on a farm, I think we would have one or two but living in town it doesn't seem right to me. The neighbours have plenty though, one Alsatian type thing just barks and barks, never seen them walk it, fecking thing.
My parents and brother have always had dogs, I don't dislike them, just never been bothered enough to get one.

I've just looked on a free pets advertising site and there are

1564 Labrador Retriever puppies for sale​

And that is just one site with average asking prices around four figures. Puppies are a "perishable product" as 'cute' is gradually being replaced by 'nuisance' after about 10 weeks. Sad to say, there is worse to come. The rescues are already full and a lot of vets won't euthanise a healthy dog. Just don't shoot the messenger!

There are probably a lot of good owners that would have a dog were it not for the extortionate prices just now. Sure there's a lot of potentially bad owners too which is the problem.

prices will have to come down....... a lot of money been made out of selling pups in the last few years.
