The Trump 'monster'.

Big business money is the arms industry, the oil industry, the eco industry all things of no interest whatever to Trump
Trump builds, and yes makes money, from resorts and golf courses, places where people relax and feel happy and content.

Those against him want continued wars, death, suffering and misery.

Yet Trump is the bad guy?

Go figure!

That's quite an astounding jump in your logic.

First you assume not liking trump means you want war.

Then you think that Trump can somehow puts these conflicts back in their box.

Zero evidence for either thought.

America is the world's most powerful democracy. We here in the world's oldest (modern) democracy clearly have a vested interest in an American President who respects the rule of law and democratic institutions. Especially as we are witnessing an authoritarian war of aggression on a very young democracy a bit over the the East.

Obviously it isn't up to us and internet chat makes no difference to anyone (ever) but we are allowed to have opinions and concerns.
Judging by the recent politically motivated debacles in the courts I would question US democracy.

I don't think anyone other than Trump has really seriously questioned the independence of the USA judiciary.

It is hard for anyone outside of a courtroom (but they are obviously open to the public) to really give proper insight on the outcome of a trial. One of the major issues is Trump not paying his legal bills so he is left with some seriously underpowered lawyers.

Indeed, Trump often isn't disputing the facts of the cases against him. Instead his defence is that he should be immune because he was President. This shows his lack of understanding because the constitution gives immunity from civil action based on your behaviour when acting in office. It does not (and this is yet to confirmed by the supreme court but seems likely) give criminal.and civil immunity for any action in or out of their office and after when they are no longer president.

Is that not how the Trump debate works?

Trump once met Putin, ergo he's responsible for the deaths of US secret service agents.

Trump was unhappy with some of the events around the 2020 election, ergo he wants to overthrow the very concept of democracy in the developed world.

Etc, etc..................................

Trump has only ever managed to make money though a lifetime of fraud, not paying his bills, and working with the mob just like his dad. And some Americans still think he will make them better off. I would be funny until you look at the UK's performance; Boris Johnson , Liz the Lettuce etc. :banghead: :(

Would be fascinating to know who is continuing to bankroll such a seemingly pointless campaign.

I wonder what they know that the rest of us don't?
If Trump loses the election, or cannot run because he is in prison, she has a head start on anyone else.

I don't think it's any more complex than that. The other 'Trump-lite' candidates didn't fare well, so a more traditional Republican would probably be better placed to take up the GOP leadership once he is gone.
