The war in Ukraine...

That's buggered up some Russian's holiday. :)

Poland has announced that it will stop issuing visas to Russian citizens. The Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs also announced that it is joining Finland, Estonia, Latvia and Denmark in the effort to launch an EU-wide ban on issuing tourist visas for Russians.
So isolating normal Russians & moving their mindset further against the West is somehow better than letting them see a completely different side of the story when visiting Western Countries, yet more self inflicted Western stupidity I would have thought!
Is this another Ukrainian inspired idea?

The phrase is 'Poking the Bear'.
I would use Lion, the Russian army has stood up to everything America and Co could throw at them.

It is often reported that the Russians are backwards, disorganised and use historic weapons however they are still there, the combined force of the world's best armies can't budge them. The French would crumble within a day if they were attacked with such force.

From a personal viewpoint it makes no difference to me who wins, but I refuse to soak in the vegan, anti farming and anti Russia 5h17 the BBC reports.

As long as this media propaganda doesn't influence our politicians into sending our troops to their deaths, fighting against the Russians, I couldn't care less about the outcome.

Biden and Putin will sit down behind closed doors one day and split the Ukrainian assets between both countries, only the split ratio has to be agreed and the war will end.

Are you serious.
If nato went in with total commitment, putrid lot wouldn't have a hope.

That is not America's aim, if Russia is defeated & Putin replaced with a moderate leader who is going to want to buy America's expensive weapons, the aim is to keep the war going for as long as possible before an agreement is finally reached with Ukraine staying out of NATO.
What a complete bloody waste of lives & peoples futures!!!

Do the Ukrainians think its a waste I wonder?
The human toll is very sad but don't you imagine most have pride in their country and a fierce determination??
Or is it all Americas doing, as you keep telling us, ad nauseum

Suggest you wait & ask the Ukrainians whether it was all worth it simply to be able to join a NATO that doesn't want them when it's all finally over & you will get a truer answer, if you can't see this is all driven by the Americans then there is no hope!

I guess if you asked the French after 2nd world war you'd get the same answer.

US being the larger partner in Nato and although reluctant to send stuff right away , saw it was the right thing to do.
Or just be cynical about it all from the word go ,like you!

In all fairness ,you are usually cynical about most things?

That's bol|ocks, they are crumbling and are being kept in place as far as they can by the terrorising of their own men and the Ukrainian population as a whole. Their 'best' troops were annihilated in the battle for Kiev.

It's also bol|ocks because they are using Cold War weaponry - and tactics - and are overwhelmingly reliant on artillery, no flexibility.

And it's utter bol|ocks because the only army facing them is the Ukrainian Army. If the world's best armies - mainly NATO - were fighting there, and it didn't go nuclear, they'd have been in Moscow well before the end of week two. And they, the Russians, have been 'budged' from loads of places already, with more to come. :)

Apart from all that, top post. (y)

Why would I be cynical, this war with Russia has been planned for quite some time, always planning to use Ukraine as foot soldiers.
